Gen 2 HSDs

Tern has streamlined and refined the HSD line-up on this Generation 2 e-bike, and these new bikes are rolling in NOW. Key changes include:

  • Stronger and more refined frame.  Compared to the HSD Gen 1, the HSD Gen 2 has an increase of 15% torsional stiffness at the head tube and 39% torsional stiffness at the bottom bracket.

  • Bosch Smart System with 545Wh PowerPack on all models.  Intuvia 100 on P class bikes and Kiox 300 on S class bikes.  Performance drive unit (up to 75Nm of torque) on P10, P5i, and S00.  Performance Line Sport on S11. ConnectModule on S class bikes.

  • Easy access charging port on all models for easy and convenient charging.

  • Atlas H Rear Rack carries up to 176 lb. 

  • Increased Max GVWR (gross vehicle weight rating) of 397 lbs.

  • Gen 2 HSD P10 - Shimano Deore 10-speed shifting , Class 1 - $3899

  • Gen 2 HSD S11 - Shimano Deore 11-speed shifting, Class 3 - $4899

  • Gen 2 HSD P5i - Shimano Nexus 5 shifting, Gates Belt drive, Class 1 - $4599

  • Gen 2 HSD S00 - Enviolo shifting, Gates Belt drive, Class 1 - $5499
